I upgraded to Windows 8 a while ago. Before I upgraded, my Fn + f11 and Fn + f12 keys not only changed my speaker volume, but they also adjusted my headphones volume when they were plugged in. After the transition to the new Windows OS, the Fn + f11 and Fn + f12 keys only change the speaker volume, even when I have headphone plugged in. To change the volume of my headphones, I either have to change it manually through the Speaker setting on the Taskbar, or use a headset with a volume control dial attached.
I've tried finding fixes, but I can't figure it out. Was it supposed to be like this? It seems silly to remove the function once upgraded to Windows 8.
