G75VW-DH72 Keyboard shortcuts stopped working

So Im having an issue with not being able to purchase apps from windows store. Microsoft tech on my pc and did this and that and never could get it working. Well some of his messing around has caused issues with my laptop. My nvidia control panel wouldn't come up so i had to reinstall it, my display link wouldn't work so i had to reinstall it, and now SOME of my keyboard shortcuts are not working.

Things like volume up/down/mute and airplane mode work, but keyboard backlight, touchpad disable and the button beside power button are not working. nothing happens when that are pressed.

I reinstalled ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities from the asus website because i thought that was the driver for it but it didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I also tried Keyboard Device Filter Utility reinstall with no luck

Im sorry to waste everyone's time, but i did a system restore to the point before microsoft tech messed with my laptop and that fixed the issue.
