G75VW bios update 223 now stuck at bios screen

So I bought a used G75VW. I person I bought it from did poor job of installing Win8.1. No Asus recovery partition so the ctrl+home will not work.

Updated to bios 223 now stuck on the bios screen. Keyboard does work. Try flash with the bios EZFlash but get the Build too old error. This system not cover under warranty. Please advise. I do have a high tech level. I do desktop support for a living. Just not a programmer.

Well your going to have to get an older BIOS back on your Notebooks hard drive the BIOS file needs to be named G75VW.bin then use the Ctlr + Home. I have been running 210 since it came out. Havn't seen any improvement in 222 or 223 and have seen a lot of bricked Notebooks Pick out the one you want. mount our hard drive some where so you can copy or paste the file on the Root of your hard drive. Its your only hope. Then go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media and download the version of window you have a key for? The embedded key most likely is a core 64 bit, If you have a Pro key use
