So I am having a lot of trouble as of yesterday. I've had this laptop for a few years now with no problems until now. I downloaded a file called HFS4WIN so I could try to fix my external drive, but after I installed it and rebooted my pc, I got a blue screen. When I boot it, it gives me the options to 'Launch Startup Repair', or 'Start Windows Normally'. When I choose to start normally it blue screens every time with this error code is: STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A97E8, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). And if I choose the Repair option, will it wipe my drive? Which I did backup my files just in case. Also it won't allow me to ever safe mode, and the only other screen I can get is by holding ctrl+alt+del, but now it seems it will no longer go there.
Any ideas on how to fix? Or should I just do the repair and factory reset everything? I also have 3 recovery discs that I got from Best Buy when I got the pc if running those will just fix the boot problems without wiping my drive.
