I realized in the title I screwed up and it should be G751JY not VY.

I am trying to find out if I should buy a G752 or a G751 with GTX 980 and if the performance increase with the G752 will be the worthe the significantly higher cost and lack of a reasonable sized SSD 128 with the G752 vs 256 GB in the G751. What do you guys think?

Specifically G752VY-DH72 I7-6700HQ 32GB 1TB+128GB GTX980M 4GB vs G751JY-DB72 17.3INCH Core I7-4720HQ 24GB 1TB+256GB GTX980M

Also shows sata 1 if my odd is connected, but if I connect a sata 3 device, it will also show sata 3 for my stock hdd and sata 3.1 for my 850 EVO.

Thanks, Nice to know info for those wanting ridiculous amounts of storage!

Out of curiosity seeing how this changes depending on the drive that's plugged in and not the actual controller can you run a crystal mark on that drive to see what actual speeds are?
