Have you tried backing up where you are then doing a system reset to factory state? Doesnt seem like its a hardware issue if it works in the BIOS and you can get to the Shift function during a restart and get into the BIOS in the first place.
I have a nephew in Indiana named Michael Berg.

Small world! Does my system have a backup function and if so where, or do you mean the oldschool 'put important stuff on external hdd?
I was thinking of uninstalling PC/AT & PS/2 Keyboard (101/102-key) driver in device manager but cant find a driver for my laptop or is that driver universal ? Then reinstalling of course...

I just turned on my G75VX laptop after a week of not using it and the keyboard has the exact same issue after one of the windows 10 updates that just went through this last week. It is obviously an issue with the fact that ASUS does not have proper drivers available for the laptops when they decided to not provide windows 10 compatible drivers i guess.
Has basically killed the laptop until i can find the old driver somehow and force no more updates to that specific part of the computer.
