I repasted my own G752VS and on max setting games like ARK, (which has no FPS limit, so it's forcing the card at 100% load, I get 76-78*C on the GPU and the CPU roughly 70-75.

Rare to see CPU hit 80.

If you're seeing excessive of 80+ I advise you rip off the plastic cover on the back (not rip off but.. pry it off gently ;d)

This will promote better flow for your GPU/CPU, at the expense of everything else, but it seems your GPU/CPU will need it more.. so..

Its extreme that goes mad i do game with fans on 100% cpu fan isnt pumping out the air u can hear the gpu fan and feel the air coming out rpms to low on the cpu can hardly feel the air standard is fine with fans on max fps is fine vapor chamber should be keeping it cool but isnt.As tombraider runs fine on ultra 75fps all day long np at all just on extreme it goes mad 90-100c i know it will get hot on ultra thats why i game on max fans just overheats and low rpm.

The g752 has 2 shared heatpipes that span from one fan across GPU & CPU to the other fan. So your CPU is taking on the extra heat from the GPU because the CPU fan not working to its full potential. Any way you could see detailed monitoring of your fans while they are working? Might give you a clue as to what's wrong.

I recommend doing whatever it takes to avoid sending the laptop back to Asus, whether it is avoiding running everything on Ultra or taking Darnassus' advice and applying thermal paste to the CPU.

I bought the fully maxed out Asus G752VY a couple years ago the same week it released and when it came, I had several issues with it. For one thing, it had two 256GB SSDs with no working RAID solution at all, but was advertised as 512GB SSD on the specs. So who wants only 256GB for "C:\" and a "E:\" that is 256GB too? Additionally, when the laptop arrived, the plastic frame that presses against the actual matted screen was sticking out at the bottom of the screen so there was this wide gap between the frame and the actual screen. And it was causing light to "bleed" into the screen itself.

So I got on the phone with Asus to explain the problem within 1 week of owning the laptop. The Indian customer service representative sounded like he had a horrible, accusatory, and belligerent attitude regarding me shipping it back. He tried to suggest I did something to it when it was like that out of the box. I was trying to be nice on the phone the whole time and the entire conversation felt like a fight.

Before then, I had never done any business with Asus where I needed to ship something back, but that experience was so bad that I decided to avoid dealing with the customer service people at all costs.

In a genuine effort to avoid Asus customer service, I figured out how to resolve both of my problems on my own. I learned how the plastic frame was connected and snapped it back into place. I also took out the 2x256GB NVMe SSDs and inserted a 512GB SSD. I eventually took that out and replaced it with a 2GB NVMe SSD a couple weeks ago. The laptop still works great. Now I'm looking forward to the G703GI or whatever the best next-gen laptop will be in June!

Its the fan thats the problem rpms are low 1400 where the gpu is 4100 and wish i didnt have to send it back still under warranty frame by the asus also pops out after lcd replaced it just overheats and thermal throttles just need that fan replaced and it keeps going to max when its at 39-40 all the soding time if they dont fix it this time i will just get my money back and be done with it asus and the repairer let me down at every step tbh it was faulty out the box not my fault they should of just replaced the thing they have replaced almost everything just sick of it 10 months of emails calls just one big headache they should be looking after there customers feel so let down by all of this there fault not mine.
