I wouldn't call it hot, but on mine it is definitely pretty warm on the right side above the usb-c port. I haven't tested if it is warm or not when unplugged. I don't know what is causing it, either.
Yes my g752vy also has that problem. At least its not on the left side where we rest our palm during gaming. At least on the right side we dont really notice it. Lazy design and testing by asus.
