My left side of laptop is absolutely cool, but right side (and especially when I connect power) has temperature in range from "warm" to "hot". Is this normal?

I think it a kind of normal.

From my opinion, the machine gets warmer when I upgraded BIOS to latest version.

You know, I agree. They changed some thermal settings. I had to upgrade unfortunately to get my nvme 950 pro ssd to work. My real life friend with the same laptop without upgraded BIOS, his fans would speed up much more frequently. This new BIOS seems to want to "save" on my fans.. and KILL my effing g752vt. Unfortunately I can't go back to the old BIOS so I will just deal with temps going up to 99 Celsius and asus support telling me this is normal. Never buying another ASUS laptop again. It looks cool. Wont do much good when it's broken though from running so hot.

Install and run the sensors of Hwinfo64, this will show you exactly what your GPU and CPU Temps Load and Fan speeds are. If neither of these are running hot you probably have a hardware issue or its normal. CPU and GPU should be the only heat creating devices.
