Hello,

i am goona upgrade my current G75vx and i am in doubt between the mentioned laptops! I know that MSI has SLI 1070 or 1080 but as i noticed in some bentchmarkes, the score of MSI is less
than AsusG752vs!!! is that for real ??? how it is possible ?!!

the negative point for both is non-removable battery !! but I know that Asus is trustable with a good Fan and good material , but I dont have ant information about the mentioned MSI model, I just read some articles on the website.

Would you please let me know what is your suggestion and why you are suggesting that since i am looking for a laptop which supports me about 5 years with the high - end games.

thank you 🙂

I'm prone to agree with cuniac: The build quality has really fallen in the past year and a half. I wouldn't doubt that the G75 would have been built more solidly (and looked prettier) than the g752. Add in issues with the overclocking, and we're seeing MSI as the winner here.

However, it would be a lot easier to shop by price point. Remember, the MSI is over a thousand dollars more. Do you really have an extra 15 hundred to blow? If not, the G752 wouldn't be bad.

I ordered a G752VS OC from Amazon and found it to have poor sound quality and some overheating/excessive fan also. It almost sounded as if the speakers, especially the one on the left side, was blown. I attempted the various fixes posted in the forum without success.

I initially wanted to return this laptop for the MSI one after reading many of the posts. I contacted Amazon and decided to give ASUS one more chance by replacing it. I have been an ASUS fan and user for years with great success.

I received my replacement laptop so I went to testing it out. Low and behold it had no issues. In fact, the sound quality is phenomenal with great range. I'm not sure if maybe they made some manufacturing changes since the first batches but my initial G752 laptop box had a 'Check NO#' in the 3800s. My new G752 laptop box 'Check NO#' is in the 6200s.

I also have yet to experience any overheating issues or excessive fan noise and I played several games so far at the NVIDIA optimized settings. I think if you get one with issues you should contact your seller and get a replacement. I shop with Amazon because they are great at customer service making returns/replacements hassle free. I love my new G752VS OC Ed. It replaced my older G75VX.
