G752VS KBL can't install Samsung software for SSD

Hello,

My G752VS KBL came with Samsung SSD MZVPW256 which is SM961 (an OEM 960 Evo), but when I try to install Samsung Magician or Samsung NVMe Driver, it says that there is not device connected and won't let me to install them.
If I replace it with Samsung 950 Pro, magician and nvme drivers will install without any issue.
Is there an workaround for that ?

The SM961 is an OEM drive not a consumer drive, so it's not supported by Samsung Magician.

The issue is your 961 is running on the Intel IRST Raid driver, Samsung Magician can not see the drive through the RAID driver. You don't need either one Magican or Samsung NVMe driver. You 850 2.5" SSD in running SATA that is why magician can see it.

850 Pro drive is also NVMe not sata. So I need to install NVME driver in order to be detected by Magician.
But as I said I can't install neither the NVMe driver.
Also as previous post stated that oem drives are not supported in magician how do I find and update new firmwares for this drive ?

OK there is a thread that explains how to switch from RAID Drivers to AHCI Once you do this magician will be able to see the drives You'll have to search up the thread I think it had to do with the BIOS Update that allows the G752 to change from RAID Mode to AHCI Don't try it with out finding and reading this thread as it allow you to switch with out clean installing your OS.
