Hello,
Few months ago I have bought a Notebook ROG G752VS-BA178T and I decided to give a try to create a SSD RAID 0.
The problem is I cannot see the second SSD to allow me to create the RAID 0.
The SSD that was shipped with the laptop is
TOSHIBA 256GB XG3 M.2 PCIe 2280 THNSN5256GPU7.
Notebook BIOS version is the latest G752VSAS306.
I bought another similar SSD, and it seems to be detected fine and works perfect in AHCI mode:
In RAID mode, as you can see in the attached picture, I can see only the original one, but not the new one.
I tried to update the SSD firmware for the new one, but
Toshiba SSD Utility says it is up to date.
I see the firmware ID differ between the two:
The original SSD:
Serial Number: 66KS10AZT7BV
Firmware Rev: 57XA4104
The new SSD:
Serial Number: 177S10BNTUFV
Firmware Rev: 57GA4103
Is the Notebook BIOS the problem? Is the SSD firmware?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
