G752VS Can't two-finger scroll on Touchpad after resuming from sleep?

I have a G752VS-RB71 and experiencing this issue. Is anyone else having this problem? When I close the lid, then reopen it, the touchpad works, but I can no longer two-finger scroll. In addition, the sensitive is ridiculous so I can no longer type without my palms touching the touchpad and having it affect my typing.

If I restart my computer, everything is fine again, but obviously that's not really a solution. This only happens after I close the lid and reopen the lid.

ASUS Smart Gesture is NOT installed, and was never installed. I never bothered installing it as I figured it wasn't needed since it wasn't one of the default programs. The Drivers & Tools page for this laptop on ASUS doesn't list it either.

Having the same issue with my new laptop. However I cannot get the BAT file to work. devcon cannot find the process (even though it is listed exactly the same in device manager under "hardware IDs").

Any ideas?

Same here. That Bat file doesn't work. This is really a shame especially considering what we paid for this device.

I had the same issue and i could notice the scrolling not working after restart or after sleep.

I have installed this driver from the microsoft site:

ASUS - Mouse - 4/9/2017 12:00:00 AM - 10.0.0.15

You can get it from here (sort by date)
http://www.catalog.update.microsoft....ch.aspx?q=ASUS

or download direct.

Unzip and Install the latest SmartGesture.

Thanks

N.B. = CAPTA IS BROKEN, (Expired use V2), i suppose a nice way to prevent Asus custumer to report issues with their machines..

Asus, you are unbearable. Fix the damn issue or I'm getting a dumbass Predator or something.

FIX IT NOW

I didn't buy a 2700$ laptop to restart it every time it goes to sleep
