Hi Starbuckk, sorry nothing worked for you.
You don't have a driver from the same manufacturer as the rest of us, that is , VID_0B05.
That can mean two things:

1) Either your laptop has a different keyboard, so you shouldn't have gotten that update , but considering how poor Asus handled all this, nothing amazes me anymore. You need a different firmware which we cant get for you, so only Asus can help you.

2) Your actual keyboard is broken and doesn't respond anymore . Its driver was the greyed one, so there's no way to fix it , its usb controller doesn't work anymore. In this case , Asus should replace your laptop or refund you, because they broke it.

To access your BIOS, press F2 during boot. The Restore Defaults option is in Save & Settings tab.

So overtime my keyboard just finally went out.. I have have nothing.. I am going to call Asus. Right now without an external keyboard and mouse I have a giant paper weight... When I try the other fixes that are offered here this is what the log states.
Load setting parameters from ini file......Done !

File path : D:\Attempted Fix\FW_TOOL\NK.bin

File size : 57344KB

File FW version : NK00060003

[Tip] : Press AUTO button to update FW.

Searching USB device......

Not found, retry 1 time(s)

Not found, retry 2 time(s)

Not found, retry 3 time(s)

Not found, retry 4 time(s)

Not found, retry 5 time(s)

[ERROR] NOT found any correct device.

So I think my keyboard is dead.

Man if xAKUMAx dosen't work for Asus he should. That guy was able to fixed my keyboard within a short period of time. Thanks again man! Let than 5 minutes. After watching carefully what he did I would be able to fix it moving forward if it happens again.

Good news, it's ok for me. Thank you to the community!

I am so happy 😮

I tried to reinstall the last version.
The first attempt was fail 😞
But I reinstalled it again and it works.
Also after restarting of my laptop light bars and the bottom bar are lit also )))
Yoho!!! 🙂

Hi. Just want to say a BIG thank you to xAKUMAx . I tried for days to fix it on my own, and then with another friend, and to no avail. Then xAKUMAx went online, in the middle of the night, and fixed my keyboard in a matter of minutes. Amazing.
Thanks again xAKUMAx !!

When you still are having this problem, even after this new update (version 1020) make also sure you are using the latest bios version the Asus:

- Asus G752VS:

- Asus G752VM:

Updating can be done with the Asus WInflash software:

VTec555, Bios update didn't help.
The reason is due to 1020 not recognizing my driver being "old". It stated my 1010 driver was latest and up to date.
Maybe due to versioning, or due the my relevant driver not being part of the 1020 updated drivers bundle.
