No worries MonsieurGreen,
jdfrench 3 I don't think you can update the BIOS on a G752VSK to ver 302. I tried it, would not work. For me on my G752VSK it's either BIOS ver 300 or BIOS ver 304 which work. Ver 302 fails to engage.
I put off messing around with the Gaming Centre as long as I could as it was not a high priority for me. Until last week, when I got a warning:

This was quite annoying, as it prevented working on anything else (Retrospectively I think I could've crashed out using the Task Manager) but it was finally time to deal with the problem.
Articles recommended to restart in BIOS and revert to default settings.
Don't do this! When reverting to default settings it simply wiped my settings. No boot drives etc... Now it may be that my BIOS had no default settings because I'm running ver 304 (most recent recommended by Asus) & originally came with ver 300, nonetheless BIOS settings more or less blank, not picking up the boot drive (C). I remember I had this hassle when I first got the machine & calling Asus they struggle with this as well but thankfully I got quite good input from Asus who got me as far as they could (should be able to get it to work really but that's a bit hopeful I suppose) but then I managed to get it over the finish line by some more pain staking tweaking & restarting.
When your drives are not showing in the boot menu, you need to disconnect the optical drive as the machine will not pick up a boot drive when 2 drives are attached & the following BIOS settings:
- Security > Secure Boot > Disabled
- CSM Support > Enabled
- Smart Self Test > Off
- Sata Configuration > AHCI
- Boot Mode > Launch CSM (I'll edit this one later as reading my handwriting it's a bit unclear)
That finally got me back in to the machine. Then hooked up my secondary drive. Now to actually deal with the issue of the ROG Gaming Centre:
Uninstalled the ROG Gaming Centre, downloaded this ver of the
Gaming Centre ver 2.1.5 (for a G752VS 7th Gen Intel Core). Restarted & it's working fine.
Thankfully I didn't need to reinstall Turbo Gear (I must be blind as I can't see where it is on your link MonsieurGreen) & didn't need to keep the Gaming Centre installed whilst the reinstall was taking place.
Hopefully these BIOS settings help someone as Asus couldn't provide me with the exact settings for the machine to pick up the boot drives.
