G751jy: sometimes black screen after sleep WIN 8.1

Sometimes I close the lid so it will go to sleep, but when I want to wake it, it happens I get a black screen. I just have to push the power button 2 times and the laptop resumes as if it would wake from sleep mode, every program that was running is still there. Other times sleep mode works just fine. It's not really a problem, it happened on other laptops before, but it does happen quite a lot. I can't figure out what triggers it.
Got windows 8.1

Any ideas?

Most information points to fast boot being part of the issue.
