G751JY - FN+F9 "Disable Mouse Pad" does not work.....

Its weird because this function where i could disable the mouse pad on the laptop stop working. Even if i do press FN+F9 i see a blue loading circle for a split second but the mouse still moves when i touch the track pad.

Also, it started happening when i installed IObit Advance SystemCare and did a full scan to fix and erase any temp files.

Im asking if there is a driver for the FN+F functions. Or is there any place I can check why it’s not working? I don’t want to restart my Laptop because of this.

I believe thats part of the ATK package. You could try reinstalling that. Never heard of the IObit program. No telling if it could do the same thing again. It might be flagging a startup portion of ATK or a driver from it as bad/un-needed and removing it.

I would uninstall IObit, reinstall ATK, make sure it works, then reinstall IObit and run a scan. If it stops working, then you know whats doing it.
(ROG has simply become too expensive compared to the competition with same specs... 😞 )

If you are using a mouse did you open the track pad application and click disable on mouse detection?
