@dor1n : He was talking about the noise level, meaning 35 and respectively 42 decibels.
MarGeta: I don't think that it is something you should worry about. The increased noise may be due to the room acoustics or from the desk whre you keep your notebook. Wood is most likely to increase the noise and vibrations, and if you have a small room that increases acoustics that could also make the noise seem louder.
Are you annoyed by the sound or what ? I am running with Notebook Fan Controller and have set the CPU fan to go at 3300rpm in full load and I am still enjoying a silent gameplay. Well, if I am playing without any kind of in-game sound or music, of course I would hear the fans, but usually I use my 5.1 speaker system and I cannot even hear the fan noise.
PS: I also have a tiny room, full of wooden stuff and the notebook is staying on a full wooden desk that actually increases the vibrations. This is mainly why I know all this stuff.
