Before this morning I've not had any problems with my G751JY. And this morning I re-installed Windows 10. And right after the install finished the display started to have a pink color, and started to show screen burn of sorts. Like it's not fully refreshing the display. I've updated the Nvidia driver, and Splendid software.
So I'm I missing something or is my display gone bad?
If you're sure its not the drivers, the its probably the screen or DP cable. These rog laptops have very unreliable screens and keyboards, many people including myself have had them RMA'd because of this.
Yea, I'm pretty sure it's either the screen or cable. I've ordered a new screen from Amazon. The cable looks ok, I've already disassembled it. My G751JY is just over 2 years old at this point.
2 years, lucky. Both my screen and keyboard had to be replaced after only like 5 months. The laptop is treated very well and is never moved from its well ventilated spot. Its fast, but unreliable, just like a continental sports car lol.
