I just recieved a G751JT with Windows 8 installed, which I briefly upgraded to Windows 10. Are there any drivers that I should update to Windows 10 on the Asus support page? Any drivers that I shouldn't install, since I may have already installed a few?
Also, my BIOS is version 207. Should I even bother risking upgrading it?
The Intel turbo boost is fine, its not really overclocking. Its just a feature to run the core at slower speeds for less energy consumption. There is a utility Intel XTU that some folks use to squeeze a few more clock cycles out or undervolt hot cores but thats not on your machine from the factory, you would have to intentionally download, install and configure that. Ive come to find that overclocking a laptop IMO is just not worth the headache to get minimal returns. Desktops are another story altogether.
