Drive E recently just disappear in the middle of i dont know.

Anybody experienced same issue? Is it because of the temp?

Sounds like a crashing hard drive to me? Download Seagate tools and check out that 2nd hard drive/SSD

Thank man...When i ran a test for both ssd and the second one has failure...does it mean i have to replace it?

thanks

Yes run Seagate tools on it if it fails you will have to replace it. its not unusual for Spinner hard drives to fail at any time yours should be under warranty but it wouldn't likely be worthwhile to send your notebook in to have it changed out.

fyi. If it matters, your 1TB Seagate drive should be a normal mechanical hard drive instead of an SSD, so just wanted to help clarify the terminology in case it makes a difference later.

Not really sure why it is disappearing on you, but a good idea to be prepared in case it does fail permanently later.

@Clintlgm
but when i open the laptop, drive is there and i can still open some file spacially the smaller ones, when copying file it says some file are not readable. 😞

@d-Albert..thanks..they are booth ssd, sshd to be exact.

Well you should have your data files backed up. If your drive is failing it not going to better only worse. You have corrupted files because they had parts of them written to bad sectors and that part of the file is lost.
Get yourself a new SSD for your OS and a hard drive for your data. You'll have to clean install see this thread for how to do that. http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?76993-Guide-How-to-install-windows-8-8-1-10-The-proper-way-... Asus Support Downloads for your hardware drivers you should have these downloaded before you start the clean Install.

There are data recovery tools you can purchase to attempt data recovery I haven't found them helpful for recovery after a hard drive crashes Goggle is your friend about these things. A Good back up scheme is best if you have data you don't want to loose. Any hard Drive or SSD is subject to crash at any time, Warranty will replace the drive but not your DATA

I think is you want to use the Asus Warranty you will have to ship your notebook to there repair station https://www.asus.com/us/support/ or Goggle it for your country
