G751JT Internet Lag in all games.

So I get internet lag in all games. (only on online games) And mostly CS GO and Dota 2.
Single Player games work fine.
Players around me look like they are teleporting, and I get taken back to what I was doing 1 second ago each minute. (Rubberband lag)
I have an ASUS Rog G751JT. I am using a wireless network, but I also get lag using a wired network.
I'm running Windows 8.1.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

Hello AndreeiZago28

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Have you run an internet speedtest to see you're getting what you should be?

What is your signal strength, a weak signal will give you lag.

Wireless telephones and microwave ovens can interfere with the signal, if your hardware is capable you could try it at 5.0GHz instead of the standard 2.4GHz.

Ping is 3ms (even though in games it is over 40) Download speed 90 mb/s, upload speed 77mb/s.

are you the sole user of the internet?
or are you sharing it with friends, families?

it could be anything at this point (the problem causing the lag). let me elaborate:
- if your router is QoS capable (a decent router should have these options), prioritize your own connection, or prioritize game packets (at the very least)
- if any of your family members using the network were doing plenty of torrenting (P2P sharing, streaming), without a good QoS router, your packets will be delayed, causing the abovementioned lag/ rubberbanding.

try telling us your router model for a start, and your ISP type.
no siggy, saw stuff that made me sad.

The router model is a Tenda. But as I said, switching to a wired connection does not fix the problem.
Also, I have a computer. I tried playing CS GO on the same network and I get no problems, so it has to be my laptop.

90mb/s is plenty fast, check in the device manager to see if there are any yellow triangles.

Are all drivers up to date and the latest game updates/patches?

You could try resetting the modem or maybe a different channel, I'm not sure this will help though. If your ping is 3ms on the speedtest, it's strange it's dropping to 40ms in game.

It could be the game server?

Sorry for the late answer. It can't be the family members "stealing" connection because I switched to a wired connecting with no router.

There seem to be no yellow triangles in device manager. I noticed that if I unplug the laptop the ping drops to 60ms and online gaming is impossible.
