Monica, I was told by Asus that as long as the power is off, there is no power to the motherboard or other components. Only the power switch is available to turn off power.
But on my G750JH, even with the power off there is power available at the USB ports for powering devices - is that true for the G751 as well? So that means power is available through the motherboard to the USB adapters with the battery installed.
I would ask Asus via a Technical Inquiry how to disable the battery completely to make sure.
