Yes the thunderbolt is hot swappable.
3d printed parts and accessories for the G751. You know you want something better than OEM ->https://www.shapeways.com/shops/aeolisio[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

That's is really good news. I've been running Windows 8.1 on a Macbook Pro via Bootcamp for a couple of years, using a Lacie 2Big thunderbolt drive.

It's hot pluggable on the Mac side but not on the Windows side which has always been really annoying. When plugging in the Thunderbolt drive I have to reboot to enable it.

Really looking forward to Thunderbolt plug and play!

OK - just picked my G751 and there is a problem.

When I plug in either the Lacie 2Big or Seagate GoFlex, I get the error "This Thunderbolt device is not certified for PC use".

Is there a fix for this?
