G751 shuts off randomly.

Hi All,

I bought my laptop a year ago and from last 2 days it shuts off randomly.
There is no overheating and it doesn't matter if laptop is on battery or charger.
Gaps between shuts down are random (2 min, 15 min, 45 min) but less than hour.
Windows 8.1 already reinstalled. It looks like motherboard issue.
Does anyone has the same problem?

There'a several users experiencing the same issue as you. It would be nice to follow that thread instead to avoid duplicates 😛

I personally own a G751JT and this happened to me few times back then. My recent hardware upgrade was my RAM. Swapped out the old 8GB to 2x8GB HyperX Impact and I don't get random shut offs.
