G751 second hdd port only SATA2?!?

I just read forums and there isin't a clear opinion on this most of you talk about getting olny SATA2 speed from second port. And there is talk about some guy with g751 and two Crucials M550 who got SATA3 speeds on both ports,but there is no post from this guy on the forum,but some ppl say they seen it.

Anyone from Asus ever writes on this forum?

I would realy like a straight answer: Is the second hdd port SATA3 ? Yes or No.

If it is only SATA2 I most cetenrly not buy G751 as I have G750 and consider buying diffrent brand. I even have G73jh which works till this day.

i have a g751jy..comes with a bootup 256gb m2 pcie drive and a 1tb hdd data drive. I assume the hdd is on the 2nd port....want me to benchmark it or how can i get you the info you want?

Nope, it's SATA2...:p
Port1 SSD @ 6Gb/s

Port2 HDD @ 3Gb/s

I have just checked HM87 mobile chipset and it has 4 SATA3 lanes and 6 SATA2 lanes. Why Asus opted for SATA2 on the second port is a mystery to me.

Or maybe this can be set somehow in bios? Even if, there is no visible option to do so, I presume.Right?
