G751 Nvme SSD Question

I have a model that didn't come with any SSD( ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71).
I am planning to upgrade the SSD within a month.Now that the PRO 950's are almost out has a price of 350$ for 512 GB.
I have a question to those who had pre-loaded SSD ..Did your SM951 have an AHCI controller or a Nvme controller?
If AHCI will the Nvme work after a BIOS update?

G751s come with XP941s, not SM951s.
Message aeolisio for info on how hard it is to get a NVMe drive running on a G751.
He also got a PRO 950 and I think that's not quite working without the right dirvers yet, either.
