I have already changed over 14 g751s from work to the 7560 all without problems. I have seen 2 g751s where one of the speakers physically was loose and rattling around have you removed the back cover and checked them? Its only a few screws on the top when its flipped over. I only noticed because i was pulling the stock speakers for those units and installing bose speakers for upgraded sound quality.

Hi, could you link me the site where to buy those Bose speakers via PM?
Do they sound much better than the stock ones? Is it difficult to replace them?

hi guys,

I was about to return my laptop so they can fix it, I thought hardware issue, but after reading your posts, I upgrade my driver to latest from asus website I got control over internal subwoofer and changed it to 20%. but this is not fix actually.

I lost the GUI sound managment because I completely uninstall and installed latest version

and the issue is not 100% fix. 😞

do you think it's good idea to just return it and let asus office do something with it ?

I don't think there's a real solution to this. Having tried more than 10 driver versions, I still get popping and crackling, mostly audible when on youtube or movies, in between scenes, when it's less action packed.

It's ridiculous how they can't even make the damn sound system work like a cheap Chinese music player can.

A temporary solution is this: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?54290-I-have-crackling-sound-with-g751JY-PLEASE-HELP!&p=49...

Still, it does not remove crackling for a long time, for me it seems to have returned back to it's crackling state after 5 mins.

The complete 100% workaround for crackling is here:

I messed up something in my windows 8.1 x64 with Maxxaudio

I installed 7576_PG433_Win10_Win8.1_Win8_Win7_WHQL_USBAud_33_With_MaxxAudio_Installer_MUP

Which is a Dell version and I don't have Maxxaudio anymore, can anyone tell me how to restore it ? when I try to run the Maxxaudio.exe file it opens me a blank empty windows , when I try to open MaxxAudioMeters64.exe, it shows me Dell Audio with 2 bars and I can't change anything. I don't know how to get rid of it, I tried 5 old versions, I tried uninstalling it in different ways. I can't do Restore Last settings in windows because it was disabled .

EDIT : P{FFFFFFFFFF the problem was using the https://rog.asus.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=48737&d=1430253959 from the thread G751 Sound Crackling Thread (The one thread to rule them all) [WORKAROUND]

and the service just ****ed it up. I uninstalled the service option 2 and I got the AudioWizard back.... ffs I never install anything like that anymore, more than 30 restarts till I thought this called be a problem.
