G751 and G752 and LG matrix connected thru DP only 6BPC in nvidia control panel???

This is what the topic states.

I got only 6 bits per channel on G751 and G752, WHAT?

I thought all panels produced today support at least 8 BPC color data. Suprise suprise, our config supports only 6BPC ain't that nice?:mad:

Or maybe someone knows how to get 8BPC at least? I scan the vesa output from the panels and see what it reports later.

Two ways to get 8PC color.

1) connect display that supports it to HDMI port.
2) return laptop and look for another that has a display panel that supports it.

Connect my 55" UHDTV hanging on the wall in my bedroom to hdmi port and get 8bpc. set up to use ONLY the HDTV and another world opens up.
