I'm trying to come to a final decision on what model to purchase in the U.S.
G751JT-CH71 comes with a 1TB 7200 HDD $1489
G751JT-DH72 comes with a 1TB 7200 HDD + 256GB SATA 3 SSD $1749
I would really like to have an SSD? I was all set to purchase the one above with the SSD, but I've read lots of people are installing aftermarket Samsungs. It has me questioning what to do? What are the benefits of going with a Samsung versus the stock Sandisk that comes with the laptop?
Then you have the M.2 pciE connector for really upgraded technology. Through HIDevolution they could install a 512GB Samsung XP41 for a total cost of $2124. If I went that route I don't know if I would still need a backup storage device.
I'm just not sure what my needs are and what route I should go. My computer usage is pretty basic. I like playing Planetside 2, internet browsing, using Microsoft Office. I would get into other games but I've never had a great computer.
