G750JZ to HDMI Monitor, Blurry/Fuzzy/Vibration in games

I connected my G750JZ to my 23inch ACER Monitor via HDMI and when I play my game on this monitor, Mechwarrior Online, most of the lines are fuzzy. It's hard to tell at first but if you look close enough, everything looks like it's vibrating in place. Ideas? My old computer didn't do this with the same monitor and cable. Watching other robots move around in game they seem blurry, or even have after images or something. It's hard to explain. It's not always visible but if you're looking for it, it's there, especially on stationary objects. The built in ASUS monitor does not do this.

Ideas? Thank you! This only happens on the external monitor. Intel control panels says it's at 59pHz and if I switch it to 60pHz it always switches back. It also lists this monitor as a TV but when I switch it to "Monitor" it switches back.

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

I'm using an external monitor on my G750 JZ, connected with HDMI for work and gaming, no problems.

I was surprised recently to find this monitor, a Samsung SyncMaster T220, has a resolution of 1680 X 1050. A little off 1080P for some reason.

Is it possible your monitor is displaying interlaced? I'm not sure if this is an issue, but you may want to investigate the difference between interlaced and progressive displays, and pursue this if it appears to be the problem.

I'm having problems with my HDMI port and since I'm quite sure it's related I decided to post it here.

I got my G750JZ two weeks ago. When I connected my TV via HDMI I got the message on the TV screen that the HDMI cable might not work correctly, but despite that everything seemed to work. Soon, I noticed some green lines on dark background and when playing games using the TV as display, the colors sometimes went weird in some areas and the screen was slightly blurry.

There was a dead pixel on the notebook display so I returned it anyway, but sadly, the new JZ doesn't even connect at all to my TV. I get the same message, but there's neither a video nor audio signal. By the way, the HDMI cable is new and not a cheap one and it works perfectly fine with two other different (ASUS) notebooks on the same TV, and I can't really switch to 60pHz either - it's kind of stuck on 59pHz, just like DuffmasterFresh said.

Another thing I noticed is that the cable doesn't quite fit in the port (on both JZ's) - the port doesn't seem to be "deep" enough.

So I'm starting to think that maybe this issue affects many of the notebooks. Anyone else experiencing problems with the HDMI port?
