Anyone know a new touchpad driver that will let me re-enable the "disable when USB mouse is plugged in" option? I can't stand that windows updates always break this...

Found a solution that works for now. If it ends up giving me any kind of problems I'll report back. It says it's an Acer driver but it's probably just a generic driver that multiple laptops use and so it installed and works fine.

hobo is your smart gesture control functioning normally? mine stopped working after the creator update, and since i see you also received it i thought i'd ask you

Some software need to be reinstalled after major Windows upgrades Like AU and not CU. Simply uninstall and reinstall problem solved?? That's all I had to do on my G752VY

Sorry for not seeing this for so long! No, my gesture control is not working. So far I've been unsuccessful at reinstalling gesture control or ATK manager. The only thing I got working was that touchpad driver which re-enabled the driver setting to disable the touchpad when a USB mouse was plugged in.

This never works for me. Windows will always remove it and """""upgrade""""" it with whatever it thinks is best. At first using the update blocking tool would get around this, but now it seems like that tool does nothing - I can block a driver upgrade and yet it still happens.

Actually with the latest updates ***.296 gpedit works again and the setting to block driver updates works again. If you don't have Pro or enterprise you have to jump through hoops to either get gpedit to work in Home or manually make the setting in the registry. Windows 10 forum how to disable driver updates
