I am facing long boot time when I restart the laptop (2+ min) the long period is on the welcome screen with the rotating dots, it takes around 1mn 30 sec while if I shut down and turn on it takes 20 sec (using fast startup turned on) and a hibernation file of 25gigs.
There's a Bluetooth update that stuffs up the machine, it struggles to install it. If it keeps failing in Windows updates, just uncheck it and hide it.
If it's already installed, just turn off bluetooth, or uninstall and re-install the driver.
Run msconfig....what startups do you have if any? One thing you can do to speed up your boot times is going into the BIOS and changing boot priority to boot straight from your HDD skipping the disc drive check (because how often is anyone installing an OS or of the such?) and that will give you a bit quicker boot right off the bat.
