G750JZ-DS71 Gameplay Audio ISSUES -- Need Help!!!

Hopefully someone from Asus reads this and has a solution for me. AT this point, Any help i can get will be immensely appreciated.

I just got the G750JZ. Turned it on for the first time and installed a couple of games. They're all running smoothly except for the fact that they've no Audio at all. I can't hear Jack while the games run. At first i just thought it was that one game, so i installed Middle-Earth, Shadow of Mordor. Turns out this one has Audio during gameplay, but the audios go off as soon as a Cut-scene comes up.

So far, It's the only one with any audio. PES 2015, Far Cry 4, Street Fighter Ultra all have no audio at all, of which I used to play these same games on my previous MSI laptop with no hiccup.

PLEASE HELP OUT, I'm almost beginning to sh*t Rocks here. What do i do?

Grum, I don't have a solution other than do an F9 reset, and start from the out of the box configuration.

Then install one of the games that isn't working correctly and see if the audio works out of the box. Then if it does, install Windows updates, drivers and other apps 1 at a time - rebooting and then checking the game audio again - until you find the install that messes it up.

It will be time consuming, and hopefully when you find the culprit, uninstalling it will solve the problem, otherwise you will need to F9 reset again and make sure to never install that software again.

Good luck, and be sure are report your results here to your thread. 🙂

Hey Grum, sorry I didn't see your PM. Sadly I don't understand sound issues, maybe trying to re-install Direct X? If it's for specific games, then something's on the laptop making them incompatible.

Have you watched a YouTube to see if sound still works?

Try to delete Direct X, re-install the latest from here, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113/en-AU

Also, try toggling between Direct X 9 and 11 in game, see if that changes anything.
