G750JZ ac tip overheating + switching betwen ac and battery mode.

Hi

I have G750JZ for about a 6 months. Recently when I`m playing games tip of AC gets really hot (it is imposibble to keep it in hand).
Because of that AC stops working for some time and my laptop runs only on battery.
Taking the battery out resolves in shuting computer down after some time.

Any idea how to solve the problem?

You could try a new Adapter but this sound like a hardware issue and could be motherboard issue battery issue or AC Adapter issue. You'll probably be money ahead to RMA it or take it to a shop where they can run test to isolate the issue. Some others my reply with another solution?

I want to eliminate all other factors what is exact size of ac tip for G750JZ is it 7.4mm ×5.0mm?

(i do not have a caliper.
