G750JX Video Driver Update Error [solved]

Windows update recommended a video driver update so I went to Nvidia's site and found the latest driver to be 331.82. I presently have 327.02 installed so I downloaded and attempted to install 331.82 but received an error message that "the graphics driver could not find compatible hardware". I then allowed Windows Update to run the video driver update it was recommending but it simply reinstalled 327.02. There is no "updated driver" offered on Asus's site so I am correct to assume that I have the latest video driver "for my computer" even though Nvidia shows a later version being available? Thanks for the help.

Make certain you did not select the wrong OS and/or video card model, if you attempted to update manually. All OEMs fall behind in driver updates, so it is best to get the latest generic driver from the component/driver producer.

Yes sir, I had inadvertently downloaded the desktop version of 331.82. Downloaded the notebook version of 331.82 and it installed perfectly. Thank you.
