G750JX Survival Kit

Can I have ALL the information to keep this thing surviving? I love my new laptop and want it to last.

If I need to;

Re-install Windows 8 on it. How will I do that?

Where are all the right drivers for the G750JX? (Can I have this in a zip file to stow it somewhere)

How do I make a backup disc of the operating system only? (And drivers and programs)

Where can I find all the tools that I need to download in case I need to do a fresh install?

Is it possible to get rid of the SSD partition? (256GB halved is too small in my opinion. Need to make room for the big downloads)

What's a good carry case to move around with?


If anyone can answer this for me, I'd love extensive answers, I'm very new and just want to be extra careful. Thank you so much for reading.

I asked my self the same question and searched a bit.

as for installing of the windows 8 , back up your files somewhere and restart your laptop and then press F9 then choose troubleshooting and you will have all the options there.

Can you post some pictures of what the padding looks inside?

Would it also fit the charger and a mouse? And possibly 1cm thick worth of glass and a mouse pad? Thanks!
