I am trying to confirm if my laptop (described in the subject line) will support a Samsung 28" UE590 UHD monitor (3840 x 2160) at 60Hz through the displayport connection. The information I found at Nvidia's site indicated the GTX770M would support "up to 3840 x 2160" via the displayport connection but no refresh rate was stated. The laptop is used primarily for productivity and watching Youtube videos but I do not want to purchase the UE590 if the displayport output on my G750JX-DB71 is limited to 30Mz. Any helpful comments are appreciated.
