G750JX - 2 system beeps on windows 10 only

Hi,
Just recently I have been getting 2 system beeps (not windows sound) at random times when I am using Windows 10, sometimes waking after sleeping.
I set an alarm on aida64 and got a warning when the CPU temp went above 65C even though the laptop was basically idle.
Can anyone confirm that 2 beeps are due overheating.
Since then I have been gaming on windows 7 and also using windows 8 and mavericks (multi booting) and dont get the beeps at all or any signs of overheating.
The windows 10 was not a clean install but upgraded from 8.1 (although it was done several months ago). In that process windows 10 decided to remove several programs without warning and I only noticed they were missing a couple of weeks later.
(I have since reinstalled them)
Maybe I am missing a driver?

You can check the events log in administrative tools to find out what the problem is. Did you setup any clock widgets? It could be the widget causing the beeping noise.
