G750JW Laptop won't use NVIDIA Card - Tried many things

I have a G750JW (770M GTX) Since I installed the latest (31st May) GeForce drivers for the Witcher 3, I have been unable to use my NVIDIA card for any game. Minecraft is the only one I can get to recognize its existence, but even its performance is low enough that I'm sure the intel card is doing the rendering (~40 FPS). All other games like the Witcher 3 and Skyrim run in the single digit FPS, like I'd expect from the Intel card. Right clicking on the executable and forcing it to use the NVIDIA card does not help (though that is how I get minecraft to *say* that it's using the NVIDIA).

I have tried rolling back drivers, reinstalling the ones ASUS offers on their site, and installing the sets of drivers (clean install each time) in between then and the latest version - manually, and with GeForce Experience, and still no luck at all. Today I tried to reset Windows from the recovery partition, to factory settings, and that still didn't help.

Am I dealing with a hardware failure here? This laptop is not a year old, and I don't want to have to go through a warranty hassle.

You'd be amazed about the battery... I can pull 7 hours of constant on off of it (all dimmed of course). 4 hours on normal conditions, and 2-3 hours on gaming (league of legends on minimum specs)

My never worked for 4 hours! Battery is only 7% dead))) Also I haven't test it for long but I think maximum will be 3 hours wit connected mouse) But it doesn't matter for me. I don't need it's long life from this laptop on battery. For mobility I have another laptop which is smaller and lighter))
