G750JHDB71 24GB RAM How Many Modules and Brand Specifications?

Been trying to find out what brand is in the system. Review on notebookcheck says it's Hynix for the jx @ 12gb 3 sticks. I want to know so I can complete the notebook ram if it's only using 3 sticks to make it 4 sticks of 8gb. Unless it's 4 sticks at 6gb each or something...I'm noob.

It's probably 2x4 + 2x8. 6gb sticks aren't common.

Can anyone confirm that the 24gb ram g750jh models come with 3 or 4 ram sticks?

The JH db71 has 3 8GB sticks. If I can figure out how to put a picture in this post there should be a screenshot of hwinfo64 on my JH

Lastly, is the open ram slot accessible without opening the keyboard?

In my particular case yes the open slot is accessible via the cover underneath the laptop. I believe that asus tries to put the factory ram under the keyboard leaving the open slots where the user can easily get at them.

Edit: Also on a completely unrelated note. My intended username was "thememonster" I must have misspelled it when setting up my account. Is there a way to change that?
