G750JH Switching to battery during Gaming

I bought a G750 almost a year ago and It has been really good, but over the past few months I've been noticing that while I am gaming (especially in intense scenes) sometimes the laptop will switch to battery mode for a few seconds, or sometimes until I alt-tab out of the game. When this happens the screen dims and the game(s) lag out horrabily. I just wondering is this a GPU issue or a Power issue?

I have Windows 8.1 Installed and the Newest NVIDIA Drivers and BOIS 204 Appreantly this is a G750JHA Model.

Edit: Plus the charger seems to fall out with not too much effort, It dosent fall out if you tip the laptop onto its side but if you move about it has a habit of coming out, and sometimes you really need to push it in to get it off battery mode

forgot to mention in my thread that Tried to open DOTA today and I passed the bald guy screen and game closed. I guess I ave a thermal issue - cpu ovearheating.

If it's not about the charger plugging-unplugging maybe you have a faulty powerbrick or port on the laptop might be faulty(this last one would be really bad). I bought mine last year in july, so no more warranty -_-

The unit should have 2 years warranty.

Well ****e, have you tried to jimmy the charger port around in a slow circle to see if there's points of position that the charger starts to not charge your unit? I have a feeling it's your socket connectivity dropping when you move ever slightly. It's supposed to be TIGHT.. and I mean.. REAL TIGHT.. I'm talking at least 300-400 grams worth of force to push it in and out.

Sorry for the late reply, I couldn't access the forum until today. If I swivel the charger around it won't go to battery, but if I move the laptop to the left slightly the charger has a habit of falling out If I move the laptop right the problem usually is not as bad. Also if the charger plug is 1mm out of the side of the laptop it'll go to battery mode.

I had a case of the other day that the battery went to 0% (because I forgot to turn the charger on at the wall) but after restarting the laptop the laptop was charging at about 4% I went onto facebook and the computer decided to go into battery mode just loading facebook, which then resulted in it going into hibernate mode because Windows was worried about the low battery level.

So I wonder if there's a power problem internally?

Try to charge the battery to full with the unit OFF.

After, if you are confident, you could use a sturdy object to try bend the socket in the laptop a little tighter to close that 1mm gap. Of course have your battery pulled out.

Do not do this if you are not confident or familiar with basic electronics.

Again, you should have 2 years warranty. Check on Asus website, or in your account information.
