G750JH Questions and expectations

Hello guys

Few days until the release of the JH on my country.
So here is my questions I care about;

  • Am I able to connect more than 2 screens at the same time (meaning: laptop screen + 2 external)
  • What model and specs is the wireless card?
  • From the look of the pictures, the handrest pads looks slippery. Are they?
  • Any problems that doesnt have an easy fix yet?

It's a hell lots of money for this peace of machine. Must know what I buy 😛

regards

Why nobody replies to this? It's been 9 days since posted.

1.Am I able to connect more than 2 screens at the same time (meaning: laptop screen + 2 external): with display port, hdmi, vga (i think you can use all 3 at a time but i'm not 100% sure)
2.What model and specs is the wireless card? id assume dual band ac but it would depend on the distributer/reseller consult the advertised specs
3.From the look of the pictures, the handrest pads looks slippery. Are they? what do you mean by this, i wouldn't assume so???
4.Any problems that doesnt have an easy fix yet? yes...
Stuck at 0.77GHz while on battery ( i did fix it somehow but idk how, then i had to exchange it for another reason)
upgrading to ssd is a little of a pain (Windows 8's fault)
alternating grey/black horizontal lines when viewing a black image (software, uninstall that stupid splendid asus color enhancing program )
On battery, graphics card downclocks (nvidia feature, on all nvidia graphics laptops)
you MUST use 1.35V ram if you want to upgrade (haswelll annoyance)
No one replied for 9 days because it got sent beyond the first page, and people are too lazy to search through the pages to post.

My suggestion is keep your current Asus Laptop untill 2015/2016 (broadwell/skylake)

Thanks for the reply.

I'm upgrading to the reason of the soon release of Battlefield 4.
Also, I'm not able to stream live with Battlefield 3 with the current cpu I have (it's slow).

PC will be coming to the store over here tomorrow.
With every new computer there is problems, same with my current laptop, which I have adapted and figured it out.

If you're upgrading because the CPU isn't good enough, keep in mind the performance gap between an i7-2xxx and an i7-4xxx isn't groundbreaking since most of the improvements have gone toward power efficiency, not performance. You're looking at a 35%-ish performance increase in the benchmarks between your cpu and the i7-4700. The difference between Haswell and Ivy bridge is even smaller, about 10%.
