G750JH jumped from AC mode to Battery mode and back

hello,
i recently experiancing problem with my ac connector.
when im playing videos/playing games when the AC connector is connected-for some reason it jumps from ac mode to battery mode and slows the computer, and then a second after it returns back ac mode. it happen every 2 mintues and it drivs me crazy!

i thought it was the battery at first, so i plugged it out and started the compuet, but the computer turned down i minute after i played a game.

do you have any idea what it might be? am i the only one who's experiancing it?

APReVo, it sounds like the power adapter is failing, or perhaps the cabling isn't solidly plugged in to the power adapter from/to the wall. There have been people with failing AC adapters, but it can also be the power circuitry on the laptop. If you can find another G750 Power Adapter, try that first - so you know what to send in for repair / replacement with Asus.

I usually purchase a 2nd Power Adapter to leave at work, and one for home, and if I have the laptop a long time and keep moving it around I get a 3rd for keeping in the travel bag, so you could purchase a replacement for use and testing now from Asus estore:

And, a 2nd battery is nice to have for the eventuality of the battery failing later in the service life of the laptop.

Hi, I would love to hear if you got any solution to this as I have the exact same problem and it renders the laptop unsuitable for anything but web browsing.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, the charging unit on my laptop is dead and I've sent it to the lab for a repair and the wait time is 6-8 weeks, very disappointed and angry but what can you do.....
