SupaFaztG, there have been a number of people complaining about incompatibility with the Corsair Vengeance.
Although Corsair say they are 1.35v compatible, the are SPD 1.5v, and the G750 runs them at 1.5v. That is bad enough, but apparently they are also not stable. Some have gotten 1 SODIMM to run, but not 2.
Initially Corsair listed them as 1.5v/1.35v in the spec listing. Now they say 1.35v compatible, but you have to dig to find the 1.5v SPD statement:
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Performance-1600MHz-CMSX16GX3M2B1600C9/dp/B00EXPNG5Y
Technical Specifications
Size 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Format - 204 Pin DDR3L SODIMM
Tested Voltage 1.35
=>SPD Voltage 1.5
Speed Rating PC3-12800 (1600MHz)
SPD Speed 1600MHz
Tested Speed 1600Mhz
Tested Latency 9-9-9-24
SPD Latency 9-9-9-24
The best way to extend the memory in the G750 is to use a program like CPU-Z, hwinfo64, aida64 to find the make and model number for the memory that the G750 came with, and do a google search to find the best price, and order those. If your G750 has 4GB SODIMM's, then you can find the like 8GB part from the make/model family and that will work. Or, if you don't mind voiding the warranty, you can replace all 4 SOIMM's with true 1.35v memory - SPD 1.35v - Asus puts in 1.28v memory.
Here is what is in my G750JH
I had 3 of the same Hyundai HMT41GS6AFR8A-PB, so I googled the part number and purchased one of these as the 4th SODIMM for 32GB:

I literally JUST go these from the postman as I'm reading this. Not happy.
Isn't it something that I research enough to buy what is CLEARLY advertised as DDR3L AND 1.35V and you're telling me they're STILL not the right one's?! WOW!
That is unfortunate to say the least and a big hassle now.
I don't know how they can advertise this the way they do and still not be the proper RAM.
So these FOR SURE will either not work, are unstable and/or, more importantly, damage my brand new G750 JX?
Corsair always had a good track record and rep as far as I knew. I spent a lot of time thinking I was buying higher-grade memory.
What bothers me even more is that it DOESN'T list them as compatible, at least not currently, it actually outright STATES "Voltage: 1.35V" in the description at the top!
Here I am thinking I did a fine job of research and in finally finding the absolute correct RAM, and it's still not right?! LOL *sigh*
Also, might as well ask since I can't believe what an ad says now, can I put 8GB sticks in along with 4GB sticks? Or do they all have to be the same? I know you referenced this but want to be sure.
I really appreciate the heads up on this, and with all of the links! Just disappointed in them.
Thank you!

SupaFaztG, at least you caught it before putting it in and running it for a long time... there is a response on that review thread at Amazon from a guy with a G750 that replaced all 4 of his SODIMM's, which would work but run at 1.5v without him knowing it - that's why it is always a good idea to get monitoring software installed that can see what is going on to confirm what you think is going on inside.
Here is the link on the Corsair site, check the specs tab, it says the same thing as the Amazon page, Tested at 1.35v - SPD at 1.5v.
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-16gb-high-performance-laptop-memory-upgrade-kit-cmsx16gx3m2b1...
Technically, tested at 1.35v covers their butt's, as if our G750 BIOS allowed us to force SODIMM voltage to 1.35v, the memory would be tested to support it. Unfortunately reports are that the actual voltage the G750 runs these at is 1.5v, and not 1.35v.
That could change with BIOS updates - Asus, do you want to issue a BIOS update that forces 1.35v max? I would think that would make sense. Maybe even put out a warning that memory is SPD 1.5v, forcing 1.35v for to protect the CPU?

Just one more thing then please...I have 2 X 8GB already installed from the factory. I don't HAVE to have the EXACT same memory that's already installed, right?
May sound like an obvious question and answer, but I'm a little gun-shy now.
Thanks again for ALL of your help in this thread!

SupaFaztG, bingo! 🙂
It's so obvious, most people miss it. Yes, you do need to get the exact same make/model family part to be the most compatible!
You might find memory that will be compatible by matching the specs precisely - but it is hit or miss, with the misses being most disappointing.
Why not just get the same make/model, they are great low power, 1.28v(!) SODIMM's, and except for the very highest end memory, you won't be able to measure let alone notice the difference, why not just get the same memory?
For some reason the human brain wants to outsmart the obvious... it is a classic human fault - rebel against the obvious 🙂
Ok, so, beyond the nickle psychology, the easiest and most successful path to follow is to use CPU-Z, or some SPD reading program to find out the Make / Model SODIMM's you already have installed.
If they are 8GB you can just google their part number and get more of the same to fill out to 32GB.
If your G750 came with 4GB SODIMM's, and you aren't going to replace all the SODIMM's, you can google the " part number + 8GB " and you should run across pages with all the SODIMM family members for that 4GB part - and then google the part number for the 8GB SODIMM listed, and those will be compatible with the 4GB SODIMM's already installed.
Please come back and post the details of your memory upgrade 🙂

Well hmscott,
Occam's razor, right? LOL
I actually took pics of the RAM installed and matched it EXACTLY (even the color-blue! LOL) to this link...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261476195024?lpid=82
The seller advertises them used with the caveat “This comes from one of our perfectly new machines and this ships to you immediately! :-)”
The only difference in the very last 4 digits which I assume are individual part #'s??? Mine say 1343, this says 1320. All else is EXACT!
Anyhow, did I get it right?
Seems reasonable!
I await your "approval"....:confused::)
Thanks again for helping me!

SupaFaztG, please post the snippet of CPU-Z showing the part number for both of the SODIMM's you have installed, the SPD tab.
You do take a risk when buying pulls from computers, used memory is a gamble, but going by Ebay rating, it looks like he stands by his sales, so if you run into a problem you can return or swap them - make sure you check them out as soon as you get them 🙂
