G750 no power after Backtrack 5 R3 live dvd boot

So I was playing around with a Backtrack 5 live dvd last night trying to check some things on my network, when it locked up. Never made it into the gui. I rebooted it a few times to see if it would get past the point t it locked up at, no dice. Locked up at the same place every time.

This was the first time I'd use this distribution, and read that it may take a bit to get to the gui and to be patient. Since it was late I left it sitting at the point I was locked up at and figured it'd be waiting in the morning.

Well, I woke up to a dead as a door nail laptop. Can't get it to power on. Any thoughts at all?

EDIT: Crisis averted. My toddler unplugged it from the wall.... battery was dead and i didnt realize it was unplugged 😛

I've used backtrack on my JH, successfully at that too, no problems with my win 8 installation :S
