After 30 days in service (i've got video burned on 30-th min of use 😞 ). Finaly i moved disks from my trusty N76VZ - G750 is fast and quite, but lack of win7 drivers is Strange. I have found driver from dell for broadcom WiFi, because win8 one from asus cant install on win7 x64 😞
So if someone knows beter driver for Broadcom WiFi ac i'll be greatfull.

Next problem - I have external mouse Logitech Anywhere MX and when i close the lead, G750 fall a sleap, but any movment of the mouse wakes him instantley - that wasant the case wit N76VZ. I have searched BIOS and Win power options but no luck up to now, please help - i want to wake my notebook by opening the lead, not with mouse. As today, when the whole batery run out in my bag because mouse wakes the PC 😞
Best Regards

Dear Asus guis, I have been involved in development of an forume (and very popular one!). And in order to gain critical mass of participants You need content. Now when You have no enough people to make forum work by itself, it will br adwisiable to have Asus guise to look in treads and give help and advices, that way forum will gain popularity and soon it wont be necesery to spend so much time, but till then....
Sory i have tried to find help for second time and most likley it will be my last try.
Best regards
Alex

Do a search on here for "install windows 7 g750" and you should find a full install guide for Windows 7 on the JX. I am running Win 7 Home Premium 64 on my JX with zero problems. The Win 8 drivers typically work btw, just be sure to turn off "program compatibility assistant" via services.

Thank You, I have red all available info. And installed Win7 Quite sucsessfuly, with one exeption WiFi Broadcom driver, only way for me was installing Dell drivers, because even with compatibility services dissabled - driver installs but WiFi card was unable to start. But Dell du the trick;)
What realy drives me crazy right now is:
1. USB Wake from sleep 😞 i cant disable, so when i close the lead G750 goes to sleep, but whenever i tuch external mouse (i use Logitech Anywhere MX - Great mouse by the way;)) PC wakes from sleep lead closed 😞
2. After wake from sleep controling display brightness is no longer possible till i restart 😞 i have read everithing about this problem, instaled Microsoft patch http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2752407 but with NO sucsess 😞

Bumping, i've got the same problem as OP. After waking my G750JX from sleep (which i'd also like to prevent the USB mouse from triggering), i'm unable to adjust the screen brightness using hotkeys or the Windows slider in the power options menu. It's definitely a driver/software issue, as the issue can be temporarily fixed by rebooting.

I've performed no less than 4 clean Nvidia driver installs, using both the latest WHQL drivers, and the drivers from the model's download page, but neither solve the issue, nor does reinstalling the chipset driver, or the ATK package. I even tried the hotfix linked above, to no avail. Has anyone found a solution?

I'm running WIndows 7 on my ASUS G750JX-DB71, using the Windows 8.1 drivers from ASUS's download page, along with updated drivers from Nvidia.

Edit: Hibernating also produces this issue, not just sleep.

Hi, just tried both my win 7's (one has nvidia driver 327.23, other 340.52) and can also confirm that the brightness does not work after sleep. brightness does work on windows 8.1 after sleep
guess i never noticed before as i always shut down windows 7 (one is only for games, the other is only for CAD).
even with the 'asus usb charger+' mode and 'wake on lid open' enabled in bios i cannot get mine to wake from sleep by just using the mouse.
however, it will wake by pressing any key on the keyboard though (which i do not like)

the Broadcom driver i am using is a Lenovo one from their support website version 6.30.223.75. full speed on both bands.
if your one is working ok why change?

Guys have you EVER considered going to broadcomm for actual drivers and not that bollocks they put as "supported" ones?
As for brightness that has nothing to do with gpu driver, that is an OS issue.
its not like i have enormous sense of self importance, its just that im importanter than most

So there's no fix, then? I've read that the issue is the Monitor driver, but uninstalling and reinstalling the "Generic PnP Monitor" from the Device Manager didn't work for me.
