G75-VX cant install win7

To make a long story short.
I got a G75-VX at bestbuy.
Don't like ....... no I hate windows 8.
Went to the ends of thee earth to find a copy of windows 7 only copy I found that was 64-bit was Pro 7
I started to install 7 when the pc restarts when it says starting windows and the logo on screen it freezes.
My first question should be can Windows 7 run on this. When I called asus before they said yes but I should have done better research online .

I would be grateful for any tips getting 8 off this and 7 on it

disable fast boot, disable secure boot control and enable launch csm in bios, then try again.

rewben Thanks for the tip i didn't have Enable Launch CSM on that why it froze. I dont have the Driver CD it didn't come with my VX now im work on the WiFi driver so i can get internet and Download the rest of the drivers.

no problem. you should be able to find all the drivers at http://rog.asus.com/notebook/17-inch/g75vx/

what's your wifi model? if you need the .ac wifi driver, use this one.

Rewben thanks again that Wifi Driver was the one i needed.
One last question tho Im installing the driver now Since the wifi driver you link is the right one for me . i do not need to Download any of the other ones from under the wireless tab?

As for the Bluetooth drivers the six different ones how can i find out which one is for me or would have have to download all of them?

and under Utilities would i download all of them or is there a few i should skip over?

for the wifi driver, yes, you're correct 🙂

as for the bluetooth driver, my best guess are these at asus' support page:

Broadcom BlueTooth driver, V12.0.0.4900, or Azurewave BlueTooth driver, V12.0.0.3100

please post your hardware id of your bluetooth module in device manager here; or you can wait for another vx user to confirm this.
