Had in downgrades from Windows 8 to Windows 7 64 Pro. ( software reason )
Question 1...
Have a Broadcomm Bluetooth ( USB\VID_13D3&PID_3404 )
Wanted to update Driver from Ver. 12.0.0.4604 to Ver. 12.0.0.4900
Can not update....says something like " setup detected incompatible version of windows"
I believe previous version was also incompatible...however I did not install it...had it done elsewhere.
Any suggestions how or where to get latest driver for windows 7??
Question 2...
My g75 vx has the Broadcomm Wireless adapter 802.11 ac
However, I have the Asus PCE-A66 802.11 ac Driver Version: 6.30.95.26
Will the new Broadcomm Driver WLAN_Broadcom_Win8_VER6309529
work.
Can't remember why the Asus driver was used, there was a reason that I was told it was used, but no longer remember.
If the new broadcomm driver is usable, do I need to uninstall the device in device manager, the restart and re install
the new broadcomm WLAN driver.
