G75 VX best Windows7 WLAN drivers?

Hello,

after getting the G75VX I have reinstalled it with Windows 7. Everything went fine.

First I have used the Win8 WLAN drivers from the ASUS DVD than I have installed 10.0.0.221 drivers from the Atheros homepage (AR9485WB-EG). Internet and Downlads work fine but in Diablo 3 I have strange lags after 5-10 Minutes when playing over WLAN. With a network cable everything is fine.

I really don't know what is wrong with the WLAN adapter/drivers.

Please help!


By the way: I really don't know why so many people had problems to find WLAN drivers on Win7 and g75vx?!

your laptop comes with AR9485WB-EG, while others has Atheros .ac wifi adapter.

in your device manager, double click on you wifi and check the power management. uncheck the box that allow computer to turn it off to save power.

Thank you for your hint. Sadly this doesn't solve the problem. Maybe it is just in Diablo 3. I don't know. Yesterday I have changed the WLAN channel from auto to 8. Hope this helps...
